My project, ‘Small delta’ is about the ephemeral transitions we experience on our spinning planet–the borders we can’t see or cross back to review. I make photos to document the almost imperceptible changes of light that occur as day becomes night and vice versa. The sky reflected in water captures the complexity of the spectrum. Waves juxtapose reflections from different directions. It’s spiritual for me. My connection to the unknowable. The universe is communicating in a tempo I can’t comprehend, I capture each minute and tile them together to see the sum and difference. I sort and arrange. The photos become a palette of time. The tapestry renders the document malleable, data vulnerable to imagined significance.
